Ballyoran Primary School is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing and development of all its pupils, particularly those in the Foundation Stage. Recognising the importance of sensory regulation and movement in learning, the school sought to enhance its environment with a purposeful sensory space.

Working alongside Roisin McGuire, Learning Support Coordinator and Vice Principal at Ballyoran Primary School, Creative Activity collaborated to design and install a bespoke sensory circuit that would bring both fun and function to the school’s daily routine.

To strengthen this support, the school partnered with Creative Activity to design and install two sensory rooms and a sensory circuit.

Creative Activity partnered with St Patrick’s College in Ballymena to design and install a brand-new Sensory Room and Soft Play Room. The project builds on a strong existing relationship, as Creative Activity had previously worked with the school to develop their Specialist Provision classes and supply the required furniture.

Creative Activity recently partnered with the Bronte Ward at the Bluestone Unit in Craigavon Hospital, Northern Ireland, to deliver a bespoke sensory room designed to support adults with mental health conditions.
